KNOW IT:
Kid and Play may well be better remembered for this hairstyle than their music but everything 80's is fresh again.
GET IT:
You're gonna need a barber with a steady hand and a sense of adventure for this one. If they don't have a selection of picks on their station, you're probably in the wrong place. The sky high flattop fade haircut is all about great clipper cutting skills and the moves of a sculptor.
BUILD IT:
Wet the hair with a generous helping of Reuzel Beard Foam (yep, it's great on curly hair) and comb through with a widely spaced pick. Use a pick to lift the hair and use a combination of pick lifting and hand patting to solidify the shape and build the height. Allow the Beard Foam to dry naturally (no dryer needed).
Mold and Hold the shape with the help of Concrete Hold Matte Pomade for a matte finish or Blue Pomade for a strong hold with some shine.
